I had Bayside replace my entire HVAC system which is a two-zone system, so two outdoor units and two indoor units. Kevin was very helpful to educate me and select the right system for our needs and budget. Good communication and scheduling to make sure we weren't inconvenienced during the installation process. Kevin was also able to Facetime me after hours to help troubleshoot and resolve a thermostat issue. Great overall experience and would highly recommend!
I was referred to Bayside by my wife's co-worker. I had a heat pump problem and they diagnosed it and repaired it without a lot of upselling I have delt with from other vendors. Great team at Bayside Heating & Cooling!We are new to the area & during this frigid weather they came to our rescue! Our heat pump wasn't delivering much heat and it was getting colder! I recently had an outstanding experience with Bayside Heating and Cooling. My furnace broke down, and after booking an appointment on their website, Eric arrived the same day to diagnose the issue. The inspection fee was $120, which was later applied to the furnace repair itself—a great policy that saved me money.Eric discovered the problem was a faulty control panel and clearly explained several replacement options, outlining the pros and cons of each. Because my furnace was already over 16 years old, I decided on a more budget-friendly approach. Eric then took the extra step of calling around and checking online to find the best price for the part. He picked it up and installed it the same day, saving me at least $500 in the process.I especially appreciated Eric’s transparency and willingness to go the extra mile. This stood out compared to a previous experience I had with another company, Home Constellation, which charged a nonrefundable $99 fee (not applied to further work), which was bumped to $124 for half an hour spent diagnosing the issue. They quoted around $900 for the control panel plus $250 for labor, and when I asked for a detailed breakdown, no one followed up for two days. In contrast, Bayside gave me immediate answers, multiple options, and finished the job that day.Overall, I think Home Constellation under performed and Bayside Heating and Cooling went the extra mile, and I lucked out getting Eric, who worked unfazed by our overly friendly rescue Akita's kibitzing.

Kevin was absolutely spot on with diagnosis. This problem started 14 years ago with the builder going cheap and undersizing the unit, with a 2 ton unit. We purchased the house in December of 2013, no AC needed in December. In July of that year we had a hot streak in the hundreds, upstairs rooms were 92°, builder cam back a tried to fix it on the cheap. With the excessive heat this year 2024, it was unbearable, we called Kevin, he came out advised us what was going on and what needed to be done to fix the problem once and for all. He brought his crew out on Saturday and they were very nice and professional! When they were done Kevin spent an extra hour double checking everything. Today it is 73° upstairs and a cool 72° downstairs. That has never happened since we have owned this house. Great job Kevin and thank you very much!!!

Over the top experience. They were at my house within an hour of my call and I was greeted by an experienced professional. He identified the problem quickly and had the thermostat I needed in the van and replaced my old one. Could have had a better experience.
I called Bayside around 4:00 in the afternoon and left a message. I thought that I would not hear anything back until the next day. Instead, I received a return call about 90 minutes later. Kevin was able to squeeze me intro his schedule for the next day (probably during his lunch break). He came on time and fixed the problem in a timely manner. This type of service is not found much anymore. I appreciate the way he runs his business.

Bayside did an outstanding job replacing our 20+ year old A/C unit with a modern and reasonably priced heat pump. Best experience I've ever had with a repair! It was 90+ degrees on a Sunday holiday weekend when my AC started making an awful noise. It had been serviced last fall by Arundel heating and that was an awful experience. Found Bayside and hoped they could give me a next day appointment. Kevin was fantastic to work with - he was very knowledgeable, open, and honest about the issue we were having. He wasn't able to fix our issue because our system is so proprietary, it required an OEM technician. But he was straightforward and did all of the inspections that he could in order to make his visit worthwhile. He gave us good recommendations on the problems with our ductwork. I would absolutely use Bayside again for my HVAC issues (I just wish I didn't have such a locked down system).
